UK Border Agency

The UK Border Agency is who you apply to with your visa application. They are responsible for securing the UK border and controlling migration in the UK. We manage border control for the UK, enforcing immigration and customs regulations. Visa Application

If you wish to come to the United Kingdom to live, work or study, you must have a valid UK visa before entering the country. In order to gain one of the UK’s many visas; you must submit a visa application and pass all the necessary criteria of the points-based system before your application is accepted.

Visa Rejection

You will receive a letter from the UK Border Agency if your application for a visa to enter the United Kingdom has been refused.

Visa Appeals

If you wish to appeal the Home Office’s decision on your visa application, candidates have the right to appeal against this decision at the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (AIT).

Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (AIT)

The AIT is a separate court system where your case to appeal your visa will be heard by an immigration judge. It is your only opportunity to get a visa application overturned.
